74Lasalo Matavale, 74, of Honolulu, a retired supervisor at StarKist Tuna Cannery in American Samoa, died in Honolulu. He was born in Alofi, Niue Island. He is survived by wife Fua; sons Mata, Tono, Toni, Felise, Ropati, Lasalo Jr. and Peter; daughters Josephine, Rita, Lose, Moka, Foga and Okise; brothers Tompy and David; sister Tini; 40 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1723 Beckley St., Kalihi. Services: 10 a.m. Flowers welcome.
