Martin Kalei Fronda, 74, of Nanakuli, a retired Kamehameha Schools recreational facilities assistant, retired GTE Hawaiian Telephone employee, Honolulu Police Department officer and Navy veteran, died in Sun City, Calif. He was born in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Julita; son Kalani; stepsons Mercury, Sunny, Roger and Ronald M.; daughters Pikake Vetere and Gaylyn England; stepdaughters Luvy B. and Jeanne F.; brothers Rizal, Kia and Ernest; sisters Emily Choy Foo, Marie Simeona, Eileen Jurado, Gloria Muraki and Maile Baird; and seven grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Sunday at Bishop Memorial Chapel of Kamehameha Schools. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
