George Kinoulu "Kino" Kahananui, 88, of Kalaoa, Hawaii, a Charles Banco carpenter foreman, Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co. foreman and ranch hand at Huehue Ranch, died at home. He was born in North Kona, Hawaii. He is survived by sons George and Aaron; brothers Valentine and Reynold Ako; sisters Lily Jane Nunies, Elizabeth Maluihi Lee, Elaine Ako-Spencer and Emma Ako-Conjugacion; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at Hale Hoomalu, 75-5785 Kuakini Highway, Kailua-Kona. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers. Incorrect information in an obituary published Tuesday.
