DR. CHARLES S. BROWN 97, Kama'aina, died in Nashville, TN on October 20th of natural causes. He was a retired Waikiki internist and Navy Veteran having served at Pearl Harbor and New Caledonia during WWII. Preceded in death by parents Charles Pickney Brown and Carrie Denize Borges Brown and his partner of 43 years Wallace (Wally) Holt. He is survived by his cousin Antoinette (Nettie) Boucher and other distant cousins as well his beloved cat Lilly, brother-in-law, Darrell Holt and friends Bill Kleinenbroich, Louie Xigogianis, David Penhallow, Barry Peterson, Steve Baugh, Mike White, Chrissie McClure and Alice Crafts. Special thanks to his long time care-giver Punnee (Lek) Kotchasi Reyes. No services, internment in Honolulu. Monetary offerings may be made to the Hawaii Humane Society.
