78Shimeko Horihata, 88, of Hilo, a retiree from Ivy's Day Care Center and a seamstress, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Papaikou, Hawaii. She is survived by daughters June Villanueva and Lynne Horikoshi, sister Fumie Matsumoto, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
