JUNE ARNOLD WALKER June 19, 1921 - November 4, 2013 June Arnold Walker, at the age of 92, died peacefully in her home on November 4th. She was born June 19, 1921 in Honolulu and worked at AMFAC and Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. June was always there for her family. She never missed Kaily and Lucas's soccer games and many Sunday evenings were spent enjoying her yummy home cooking. You could often find her in Kailua visiting her sister and cousins and she was always up for a martini or game of gin rummy with friends. For thirty years she hosted Christmas dinner, bringing together the family she cared for so deeply. June is survived by her daughter Lani (Leighton), granddaughter Kaily (Robert) and grandson Lucas. Sisters Yvonne and Alice, brother Tom (Peep) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her husband David Walker. June is dearly loved by her family and friends. She will be remembered for her strength, witty sense of humor and devotion to her family. We will cherish her memory. A celebration of her life will be held on November 14th at Oahu Cemetery. Visitation at 2pm, services at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, charitable memorials can be made to the Leighton and Lani Lam Endowed Fund at Punahou School, the Lam Family Endowed Fund at Hanahau'oli School or Hospice Hawaii.
