69Elpidio Adviento Cardenas, 90, of Puhi, Kauai, a retired heavy equipment mechanic for Grove Farm, Lihue Plantation and Rego Trucking, died in Garden Isle Healthcare. He was born in Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Ellen A.; sons Elpidio B. "Tony,"William B., Roland B. and James A.; daughter Edie B. Bonilla; and six grandchildren. Visitation:8:30 a.m. Nov. 20 at Immaculate Conception Church. Mass:10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Aloha attire. No flowers.
