Eugene Peterson Kekona Kahai, 58, of Waianae, a former chef at Yum Yum Tree, Pearlridge, and an Army veteran, died in Waianae. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Donnalou; sons Gene, Cody and Christian; daughters Hokulani Kahai and Mokihana Domingcil; brothers Abraham and Roland Kahai, and Tex Flores; sister Laverne Rhody; and seven grandchildren. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at Zablan Beach Park, Waianae. Casual attire. Lei welcome.
