Elmer A. Silva, 90, of Hilo, a retired transportation services manager at the former Andrews Trucking Co. in Hilo and an Army veteran, died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by sons John T. and Robert T. D'Silva, daughter Mary Ann McMillian and four grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. No flowers.
