CAROLYN GILLUM Age 70, gently passed from this earth on November 6, 2013. Carolyn was born on October 26, 1943 in Des Moines, IA. Carolyn and her former husband, Dennis Gillum, moved to Hawaii Kai with their children in 1982. In 2011 Carolyn retired as a Licensed Massage Therapist and closed her business, Caring Hands Therapeutic Massage to move to Sun City West, AZ where she died at Banner Hospice. Carolyn is survived by daughter Denise Fleming (Erik Nagley), son Daniel Gillum (Gina) and grandsons William and Eric Fleming, Gabriel Gillum and granddaughter Stephanie Gillum all of Hawaii as well as sister Susan Tuttle and brother Richard Angove of Arizona. Services will be held at 6:30pm on Friday, November 22 at Calvary by the Sea Lutheran Church in Aina Haina. Aloha Attire. Leis only are requested, as she will be laid to rest by scattering of ashes at sea on Saturday, November 23.
