71Susumu Mukai, 88, of Honolulu, a retired federal government engineer at Hickam Air Force Base and a retired veteran of the Army and Air Force, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Kau, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Conrad, David, Matthew and Samuel; daughter Ann Miyasato; brothers Chikao and Tsukasa; sister Lorraine Ayabe; and two grandchildren. Private services.
