80Ruby Jane Masanda, 71, of Paia, Maui, a retired Kalama Intermediate School cafeteria employee, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Paia. She is survived by companion Ty Shimabuku; son Brandon; daughters Darlene Torricer, Charlene Lacno and Davelynn Masanda; brother Elmer Aquino; sister Marcia Walters; hanai sister Sandra Bird; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
