Akira Akimoto, 94, of Honolulu, a retired supply clerk at Hickam Air Force Base and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 100th Battalion, died in St. Francis Hospice-West. He was born in Hono-lulu. He is survived by wife Patsy T., son Brian T. and three grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
