Peacefully completed his Journey under the care of Hospice Hawaii and Arcadia Health Care Center. Joined the Painters Union in July 1968 as a painter, and later served as an Instructor for the Apprenticeship School. In 1995, he was the Office Manager under Mr. John Montrone. In 1996, he accepted the position of Field Agent. He served as Vice-President and later as President of the Painters Union Local 1791. Then, Business Representative of the Painters Union Local 1791 and Trustee for District Council 50, which encompasses the Painters, Tapers, Glaziers, and Carpet Layers Unions. Survived by Wife: Jacqueline Wong Hayashi. Sons: Allen (Alena Ramiscal) Wong and Daniel Keoki Wong. Daughters: Shawne (Garrett) Uyetake, Lesley Ann (Aaron) Matsumoto and Shanyn (Russell Valmoja) Hayashi. Grandchildren: Aaron Kawika Wong, Alyssa Keakalina Wong, Blaze Keoki Wong, Meshelle Hirashima, Kairyn Hayashi-Kuwabara, Randy Manuwa Jr., Mahealani Baker-Uyetake, Cade Matsumoto, Chaslynn Uyetake, Aaron Matsumoto Jr., Chasen Koichi Uyetake, and Rylan Hayashi-Valmoja. Father: Roy H. Hayashi. Sister: Roseanna (John) Sylvester. Brothers in Law: Guy (Hiroko Kiuchi) Slover and Keith Slover. Sister in Law: Stephanie (Robert) Rombaoa.
