FAYE CAROLINE SCHIRMER DOMKE
FAYE CAROLINE SCHIRMER DOMKE November 12, 2013 94, of Kailua, died peacefully at home. She was born in Chisholm, Minnesota. She is survived by son John B. Domke, daughter Paula D. Sterling (Wayne), grandchildren John and Caroline Lawo, Malia, Lilinoe and Kapuahelani Sterling, great grandchildren Michael and Ilia Carter, and loving cousins and friends. Faye was a graduate of Carleton College and completed post graduate work in music at Columbia University. She was past president of AAUW, an active member of PPSEAWA, Great Decisions and the Adventurers' Club. For many years she served as docent at Iolani Palace and Sea Life Park, and was formerly choir director at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Kailua. Services to be held Friday, November 29, 2013 at 12:30 pm at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church with burial to follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
