Hajime "Haji" Ueda, 92, of Pahala, Hawaii, a retired Kau Sugar Plantation service truck driver and an Army veteran, died in Waimanalo. He was born in Kau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Jane S.; sons Clayton, Jerome, Lane and Lance; daughter Jan Ueda-Waiolama; sisters Toshino Mitushima and Clara Kamachi; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Buddhist services at noon. Inurnment: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
