John D. Monnett, 95, of Honolulu, a retired businessman, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Chicago. He is survived by wife Avril Josephine, son Jack, daughters Valerie A. Parr and Avril Jacqueline Monnett, and eight grandchildren. Services at noon Saturday at Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace. No flowers.
