74Joann Bettinger Best, 84, of Kaneohe, a retiree of the Central Intelligence Agency, a teacher at St. Anthony School Kailua and past president of the Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle, died in Honolulu. She was born in New Albany, Ind. She is survived by son Christopher W., daughters Amy Best-Crews and Elisa B. Vollert, sister Craig Boultinghouse, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
