Earl Shosuke "Shobo" Motooka, 79, of HonoÂlulu, a retired state Medicaid administrator and an Air Force veteran, died in HonoÂlulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Jean H.; son Dr. Mitchell; daughter Shari Motooka-Higa; brothers Albert M., Philip S., Richard T. and Willis I.; sister Jeannette K. Yoshimori; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 4 p.m. Friday at Diamond Head Mortuary. Services: 5 p.m. Inurnment: 11 a.m. Jan. 15 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
