RUTH YUMIKO (UYEDA) PEREA Ruth died at St. Francis hospice on October 17, 2013. Ruth was born in Wahiawa on October 8th 1932 to Mr. Kazuma and Mrs. Haruyo Uyeda. Ruth is survived by her husband Noe Perea; son Michael Perea; daughter Patricia (Perea) Carmichael; sisters Katherine Yoneshige, Helen Yap; brother Edward Uyeda; 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Ruth had many interests. She was a pug breeder, showed and developed champion pugs. She also enjoyed gardening, photography, collecting coins, stamps, beany babies, precious moment figurines; and her culinary skills were superb. Ruth has enriched our life beyond measure. A family private service was held at Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific
