81Bernabe Q. "Opelu" Quipotla, 91, of Makawao, Maui, formerly of Puunene, Maui, and Kahului, a Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Co. crane operator, died at home. He was born in Vegan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by sons Santos "Fatso," James and Abraham; daughters Linda Harris, Guillerma "Gail" Lincoln and Cindy Akana; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
