Eugene F. Yamamoto, 82, of Petaluma, Calif, a U.S. Postal Service retiree and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Eric, James, Gary and Sheldon; sisters Harriet Yoneyama and June Niimoto; and four grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha or casual attire. No flowers.
