78Jerry Yoshimasa Uemura, 93, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, a coffee farmer, carpenter and retired Huggo's maintenance employee, died in Life Care Center of Kona. He was born in Kealakekua, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Katy H.; sons Dean and Keith; daughters Lois Choy, Cynthia Fukuda and Sharon Mendoza; brother Yoshiharu; sisters Masae Ikehara and Norma Ah Tou; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Feb. 1 at Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, Kealakekua. Services: 4 p.m.
