72Francisco Laborte, 79, of Kapaa, Kauai, a retired Paradise Ground Care landscaper, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Edgardo, Carlito and Ruel; daughters Alberta Damiles, Lolita Cain and Flordeliza and Concepcion Laborte; brothers Pablo and Joel; sisters Grace Glovasa, Solidad Ofamin, Fely Gelbolingo, Quirina Pilongo and Certeria Vicoy; 38 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Kapaa. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kapaa Public Cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
