James Robert Eakman, 68, of Tahlequah, Okla., formerly of Hawaii, a former high school teacher and an Army veteran, died in Muskogee, Okla. He was born in Springfield, Ohio. He is survived by wife Karen, daughter Lisa, mother Betty, brother Thomas and three grandchildren. Private services.
