1-27-VIOLET-JULIA-QUISANOVIOLET JULIA QUISANO Violet Julia Quisano, 77, of Kunia passed away peacefully at her home on Jan. 8, 2014. She was born in Honolulu and is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John Quisano. Children; Violet Mamala, Lenora Visoria, Pamela Santana, John, Jonathan, Holly & Liko Quisano, Lehua Kekauoha and Napua Spencer. 21 Grand- children, 23 Great Grand- children & 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Siblings; Andy & Gilbert Sylva, Genevieve Guy, Girtude Freitas, Dorothy Perry, Diana Williams, Bobby & Harold Seales & Niki Correa. "Aunty Vi" valued family and prized on keeping her Ohana close. Christmas celebrations at her home and gatherings at Ala Moana beach for 4th of July were annual traditions that she truly loved. Proud of her Hawaiian culture she was an extraordinary lei maker who enjoyed hula and Hawaiian music. At home she liked the simple pleasures of cooking, gardening, sewing and taking care of her grandchildren. She was a very loving and kind person who gave wholeheartedly. A celebration of her life will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe on Thursday, January 30, 2014, 5:30-9:00 p.m. and Friday, January 31, 2014 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow.
