Dayne E. Obatake, 61, of Kapaa, Kauai, a carpenter and fisherman, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Gwen Saiki; hanai daughter Witney Toyoda; parents Samuel "Sam" and Elsie Takata; brothers Jimmy and Randy Obatake, and Alden Takata; and sister Marlene Morton. Celebration of life at a later date. No flowers.
