72Robert Matsuichi Takai, 73, of Waianae, a retired Pearl Harbor shipyard electronic mechanic and an Air Force veteran, died in Waianae. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Sean K. and Scott K.; daughter Faye M. Takai-Cox; mother Hiroko; brothers Calvin, Lawrence and Mitchell; sisters Amy Lee and Thelma Suzuki; and a grandchild.
