72Francis Lucky Shafer, 69, of Kailua-Kona, owner of Lucky's Concrete Pumping, Konawaena High School football coach, kempo karate instructor and professional music entertainer, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa. He is survived by wife Karen; son Lance; daughter Nanishell Shafer-Robins; sisters Marie Munn, Margaret Pollard, Patricia Malic and Mary Peralta; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kailua-Kona 2nd Ward. Services: 11 a.m. Aloha attire.
