Gilbert Malolo "Sarge" Wright, 86, of Nanakuli, a retired maintenance employee for Halekulani Hotel and Bishop Trust and a retired Army sergeant first class, died in Ann Pearl Nursing Facility. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Beverly "June"; daughter Wailani Camp; stepsons Robert, Alan, Clayton and Gavin Kepa, and Darrell Simon; stepdaughters Kalei Barbour, Francine Komomua and Jaslyn Laurito; sister May L.; two grandchildren; 31 step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 30 step-great-grandchildren; and a step-great-great-grandchild. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. today at Nuuanu Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Private scattering of ashes. Casual attire. Lei and loose flowers welcome.
