Daniel Summers Jr., 64, of Honolulu, a retired musician and an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Chipley, Fla. He is survived by wife Brenda, sisters Pearline Snell and Cora Thorpe, son Sandy C. Dunn and six grandchildren.
