Anthony Paul "Tony" DeMello, 67, of Honalo, Hawaii, a retired heavy equipment operator at E.M. Rivera & Sons and Rivco Construction, and an Army veteran, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Kau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Charlyn; sons John, Chance and Rocky; daughters Toni, Jessica and Paula DeMello, and Lisa DeCoito; hanai son Macyn Honma; mother Agnes Kailiawa; brothers Alfred Sr. and Manuel Jr.; sisters Dolores DeMello, Helen M. Nakagawa, Janette Ballesteros and Kathleen Boyd; and 18 grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Lanakila Congregational Church, Kainaliu, Hawaii. Casual attire. No flowers.
