George Hideo Yamamoto, 85, of Las Vegas, a retired Delta Airlines mechanic and an Army paratrooper, died in Henderson, Nev. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by brother Samuel, sister Betty Hashimoto and caregiver and grandchild Teresa Biehl. Committal services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire.
