Harold Takeshi Yamamoto, 79, of El Monte, Calif., a retired California state Highways Department draftsman and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Kahuku. He is survived by wife Betty; sons Greg and Gavin; brother Walter; sisters Jane Nihipali, Karen Denison and Kathleen Kluth; and a grandchild. Private services.
