83Julia Kaupena Kahanu Solomon, 77, of Waimanalo, a retired Kailua High School cafeteria supervisor, died in Kailua. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Hiram H. Jr., daughters Kauaiwa Harrington and Cyrinah Solomon, hanai sons Kimo Woelfel and Luke Okihiro, hanai daughter Loralie Okihiro, brothers Oliver Pickford Sr. and Kawika Kahanu, 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. No services. No flowers. Donations suggested to Hospice Hawaii Kailua Home in name of Julia K.K. Solomon.
