76Yoshiaki "Sharkey" Ogata, 85, of Hilo, a retired assistant air traffic control chief at Hilo Airport, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by daughters Lea Kaneta-Ogata, Wendy Takanishi and Audrey Ogata; brother Dr. Roger; sisters Yaeko Watase and Yachiyo Masuda; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. No services. Scattering of ashes at a later date. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
