Dexter Kaoru Hirayasu, 71, of Honolulu, a retired electrical mechanic at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and an Army veteran, died in St. Francis Hospice Puiwa. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughters Lori K. Sumida and Jodi K. Kawahara, mother Sadae, brother James and four grandchildren. Private services.
