John Snell Jr., 78, of San Bruno, Calif., a retired Bell Telephone technician and an Air Force veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sister Jennifer P. Castaneda. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary, mauka chapel, 1330 Maunakea St. Services: 10 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Flowers welcome.
