74Akira "Aki" Watanabe, 82, of Hilo, a Noguchi & Associates insurance producer and chief operating officer of Watanabe Insurance Services, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kalaheo, Kauai. He is survived by wife Emiko; son Brian; daughters Cora Nitta and Ann Kikuta; brothers Seichi, John and Takuo; sisters Kikue Nakamura and Emi Kitashiro; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 12:30 p.m. March 30 at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Aloha attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings. Donations suggested to Hilo Rotary Club Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island or Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
