Takuo Mimura, 90, of Honolulu, formerly of Cleveland, a research scientist for the NASA Apollo program and a retired managing director for General Electric Semiconductor, died in Honolulu. He was born in Tokyo. He is survived by wife Fumiko, son George, daughters Laura and Janis, stepdaughter Toshie Nakabayashi and four grandchildren. Private services. Donations suggested to the American Cancer Society or Case Western Reserve University School of Engineering.
