FLORENCE YOSHINO ICHINOSE Age 101, of Honolulu, passed away at Hi'olani Care Center at Kahala Nui on March 4, 2014. Born in Waipio, Oahu, she retired from the State of Hawaii, Department of Taxation. Preceded in death by her husband, Samuro Ichinose and stepson, Dr. Herbert (Beverly) Ichinose, she is survived by her sister, Nancy Oda; step-son, Dr. Benjamin (Mayon) Ichinose; 7 step-grandchildren; 16 step- great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces; grand and great-grand nephews and nieces. An avid traveler, she was a member of the Aloha Onsen Club. Florence was also a generous donor to numerous organizations. Visitation from 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Pali Highway Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin; service at 3:00 p.m. Casual attire. Family requests no koden (monetary gifts), please.
