EVELYN HOFFMAN
3-13 EVELYN HOFFMAN B&WEVELYN HOFFMAN Evelyn May Hoffman passed away at Hale Nani Rehabilitation Center in Honolulu on February 27, 2014. She was born in Honolulu on May 23, 1922. She attended Maryknoll School and was involved with the school and the Sacred Heart Church community for many years. Some of the greatest enjoyment she had in life was working with young people, particularly with the Brownies and Girl Scouts for whom she was a troop leader for over fifty years. She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Hoffman, Jr. in 1993. She is survived by her brother James Rapoza of Santa Clara, California, a daughter Roberta Hoffman, also at Hale Nani, a son John W. Hoffman, III of Quincy, California, a son Michael in Peterborough, England, a daughter Patricia Susan Churchill, of Houston, Texas, plus nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren in California, Colorado, and England. A funeral service will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1701 Wilder Avenue, on Wednesday, March 19, at 9:15 AM. Aloha attire please.
