Joseph Char, 79, of Kaneohe, a Loomis armored car courier and an Air Force veteran, died in Aloha Nursing Rehab Centre. He was born in North Kona, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Harriet K., sons Joseph A. and Corey K., daughters Ginger L. Mitte and Leigh I. Char, sisters Hannah Kamoe and Virgle Kahananui, and six grandchildren.
