74Roger Williams Hawes, 77, of Volcano, Hawaii, proprietor of Roger's Keaau Junction Restaurant & Bar and Hawes Brothers Auto Service, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Multnomah County, Ore. He is survived by daughters Barbara Rennie, Nancy Baker and Linda Williams; brothers Ron, Steve and Stanley; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Private services. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Amateur Softball Association girls program or University of Hawaii at Hilo women's softball program.
