DOROTHY G. SHEPARDDOROTHY G. SHEPARD Dorothy first came to Hawaii in the late 40's with her husband Dr. R Frederick Shepard and spent time on the island of Lana'i. They fell in love with Hawai'i and moved to Honolulu permanently in 1955. Dorothy loved the arts, especially painting, and over the years was a dedicated volunteer with the Hawaii Medical Association Auxiliary and Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Dorothy is survived by three children, Jeff Shepard, Gale Erwin, and Heather Shannon, four grandchildren, Peter Erwin, Jenny Campbell, Lindsey Shannon, and Scott Shannon, and two great-grandchildren, Ella Erwin and Ava Campbell. Private services will be held. Donations in her memory may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Hawaiian Humane Society, the American Red Cross, or the charity of your choice.
