Curtis Lawrence Fook On Ching, 85, of Honolulu, a retired investigator for the state Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Val Waldtraut Krohn-Ching; sons Max Krohn-Ching and Clifton Ching; daughters Tiana Krohn-Ching Maslanka, Christine Takushi, Paula Ching and Valerie Buenconsejo; sisters Velma Chung and Shirley Kinney; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services at a later date.
