FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

LYNETTE TAKAYESU
LYNETTE TAKAYESU Lynette Leialoha Kaowili Takayesu, 74, who recently moved to Idaho from Hawaii, passed away March 9, 2014 in Idaho Falls, ID at the home of her daughter. Born February 18, 1940 in Kawaihau, Kauai, Hawaii to Henry Iu Kwong Hee and Violet Kaui Kaneakua Hee, she attended Likelike Elementary, Central Intermediate, and graduated from Farrington High School. She married the late Lawrence Papaiano "Bay" Kaowili in Honolulu, HI, who passed away on January 12, 1979, then the late Kenneth Kiyoshi "Curly" Takayesu, who passed away on May 19, 2009. A community daycare provider for many children including many nieces and nephews, she was the best "Auntie" to all the children she cared for. She was an accomplished pianist and a master fisherwoman. We will miss her dearly!! Survivors include Son, Ocean Papaiano Kaowili; Daughter, Laureen (Steven) Stanfield; Daughter, Lorna Mele Hauoli (Douglas) Kometanil Son, Lawrence Kalani (Donna) Kaowili; Sisters, Ruth Ung Kuualoha (Ala) Kolo, Violet Leinani (Ralph) Arakaki, Lucy Kealii (Richard) Wong, Diane Kuulei (Eddie) Gushiken; Brothers, Robert Keonaona (Genie) Hee, John Kaipo (Dee) Hee; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, son, Lance Waiokeola Kaowili, brother, Henry Ah San Kaui Hee and sister, Naomi Noeau. Funeral services will be held March 28, 2014 at Diamond Head Mortuary in Honolulu, HI. Visitation at 9:30 am with services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Valley of the Temples.
