She is survived by brothers-in-law Takanari, Yasuteru, Yoshikage, Suetaka, Shigeyuki and James; and sisters-in-law Iris Fukunaga, Fujiko Ito, Hanako Miyahara, Setsuko Toriano and Etsuko Sato.
