Samuel Martinez Ramos, 61, of Lihue, a retired heavy equipment operator for Lihue Sugar Plantation and a landscaper and maintenance employee for Smith's Tropical Paradise, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Reynalda "Renee"; son Samuel "Jun" Jr.; brothers Reynaldo, German, Crescencio "Cres" and Jerry; sister Gladdy Palaroan; and four grandchildren.
