Charles Hitoshi Koizumi, 92, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii state welder and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Michi, daughter Jane Heit, two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Private services. No monetary offerings.
